Due to the latest weather forecast predicted by GEMA for potential precipitation in the northwest Georgia region, all schools in the district will be closed Tuesday. This precaution is to ensure the safety of our students, employees, and families for unpredictable weather.
We will continue to work with local agencies to monitor the weather forecast for the rest of the week. Families will be promptly notified through our communication channels.

Congratulations to the school level winners of the Young Georgia Authors Competition! Their writing will proceed to the district level competition. The Young Georgia Authors (YGA) writing competition is a statewide, prestigious competition to encourage students to compose original writing pieces and to promote their enthusiasm and love for writing!

The annual AMS Strawberry Sale begins today and will end on January 28th. A full flat is $30.00 and a ½ flat is $15.00. Any student who sells 15 full flats or more will be rewarded with an Ashworth Middle School hoodie. We anticipate the delivery of the Strawberries to be mid-February or the first of March.
