The annual AMS Strawberry Sale begins today and will end on January 28th. A full flat is $30.00 and a ½ flat is $15.00. Any student who sells 15 full flats or more will be rewarded with an Ashworth Middle School hoodie. We anticipate the delivery of the Strawberries to be mid-February or the first of March. See any AMS student or staff member to place your order!

Due to road conditions from inclement weather, Gordon County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay Monday, January 13. This delay is implemented to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and families Monday morning.
Please adjust your child's morning drop-off time by two hours. Buses will also operate on a two-hour delay behind their usual route times. Elementary schools will begin at 9:30 a.m. Middle and high schools will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Due to the current Winter Storm Watch and the forecast of potential snow, ice, and high winds, all Gordon County Schools will be closed on Friday, January 10th, to prioritize the safety of our students, staff, and community.
Students will bring home any missing assignments, including work for their reading logs, spelling, vocabulary, or other classwork, to complete if they have not already done so at school. We encourage families to use this time to help students stay on track with their learning.

Today is the annual AMS Market Day festival! Students are conducting a social studies/economics project in which they will create and market their own products. AMS teachers and students are invited to visit and purchase items.
