FCA leaders were excited to recognize two teachers today and give them an Impact Award: Ms. Almand and Coach Gazaway! Both were chosen as adults that are making an impact in the lives of students at AMS and our FCA leaders wanted to thank them for all they do! You are greatly appreciated!
The AMS Warriors boys basketball team pulled out two scrappy wins over Unity Christian last night!
Leading the JV scoring was Jacobie Bramblett with 11 and Jaden Lackey with 10. Greycin Thomas scored 6 and Kaden Ramsey and Eli Thomas scored 4 each. Bear Gregory and Cooper Wilson also chipped in with 2 points.
Leading the Varsity scoring was Ameer Dozier with 12. Austin Jackson and Jacobie Bramblett - each had 6 and Lucas Santizo added 5. Raylan Stuart and Zavier Groves rounded out the scorebook with 4 and 2 points respectively.
We hope to continue improving and get another win at Armuchee on Thursday. Go Warriors!

Today is Picture Re-Take Day!
Ms. Abernathy's 6th-grade ELA honors students recently completed a creative and reflective project centered on a novel of their choice.

Each student selected and read a book, then illustrated a meaningful scene, theme, or symbol that captured the essence of their reading experience. Around their artwork, students added 10 impactful quotes—some that resonated with the book’s characters and others that personally spoke to them. Finally, students presented their projects, sharing insights on how the story’s themes connected to their own lives and illustrating their deep engagement with the text.
