Today is an At-Home Learning Day. Students will not report to school, but will complete work at home.
Ashworth Middle School 8th grade science Kelly Turner taught her students about the physical properties of matter. She also took some great pictures of her students participating in labs for density and chemical reactions! #TogetherAMS #TogetherGCS #GordonCountySchools
Ashworth will present Dear Edwina, Jr. for their Winter Musical, January 17-19, 2025! Auditions will be October 2 -3. See Mrs. Latimer in the chorus room for more information.
Softball September 19
Congratulations to our boys and girls golf team on a good outing at Calhoun Elks Club.
Ashworth Girls were led by Kalli Hicks to finish 2nd in a 5 Team match. Kalli shot a 43 with 2 birdies. Makayla Hallman carded a counting score of 61.
Ashworth Boys finished 3rd in the 5-team match. Gracin Thomas led the team with a 41.
Also scoring for the team was Brantley Baker scoring 46, Jase Koon shot a 47 with one birdie. Carter Goble rounded out the scoring with a 58.
Save the date for the AMS 6th Grade Band Concert: "A Day in the Life of a 6th Grade Band Student" will be October 3rd @ 7 p.m. in the AMS Gym.

We will have a Teacher Meet & Greet for parents and guardians. We are also excited to announce that students and their families are welcome to visit the Book Fair in the Media Center that evening!
