(Leave the PJs at home – show your comfy side in school-appropriate sweats, hoodies, or cozy clothes!)

Tuesday – Tacky Tourist Tuesday
(Break out the Hawaiian shirts, sunglasses, fanny packs, socks with sandals, and goofy vacation vibes!)

Wednesday – Bright & Bold Day
(The brighter, the better! Wear neon, tie-dye, or any bright and colorful outfit.)

Thursday – Seeing Double
(Dress like your favorite teacher.)

Friday – Spirit Day: Show your Warrior Pride!
(Wear your blue, silver, and white or Warrior gear to cheer on our teams.)

Mrs. Rice's seventh-grade math class learned the new concepts of adding and subtracting integers through hands-on instruction. The students were given thirty, two-sided colored chips to add and subtract integers with multiple problems that were picked randomly. This is an example of what the students discovered before the integer rules were taught:

(+3)+(−2)=1 → three yellow, two red → cancel two pairs → one yellow left.
(−4)−(+2)=−6 → start with four red → need to take away two yellow, so add zero pairs → take away the yellow → six red left.
