• No fee is due until a team has been selected in Oct. The school charges a onetime fee of $50. This fee will cover any sport throughout the school year as far as school sports fee.
• Bring a Large Water bottle of any kind with a lid or cap. (It can be just a regular bottle of water)
• Wear athletic clothes (ex. – shorts, t-shirt, tennis shoes, sweatpants----Hair needs to be pulled back or put up
• During try-outs the Coaches will be looking for fundamental basketball skills, knowledge of the game, and coachability. Players will perform basic skills such as shooting lay ups, free throws, free shooting, passing, defensive drills and scrimmaging.
• During open gym and try-outs, parents, family and friends are NOT allowed. This is to allow girls to feel comfortable and focused on what is being asked of them at try-outs and to alleviate any extra pressure.
5th graders may ride the shuttle bus to Ashworth. They can unload and wait in the cafeteria until time for practice.

AMS Spring football will begin Monday, May 6th, 3:45-5:45pm. There will be a parent meeting immediately following practice in the AMS cafeteria. Student-athletes must have a physical on file along with completed paperwork on Rankone. Spring football dates are May 6th- May 9th and May 13th-May 15th from 3:45-5:45pm.
