The next National Junior Honor Society meeting will be on Wednesday, October 2nd, after school until 4:30 p.m. in the PLC room at the end of the connection hall. Please make sure that you have someone to pick you up promptly at 4:30 p.m.
If you are planning to run for an officer position, please make sure that you have your speech prepared. If you will not be at the meeting, you MUST see Ms. Abernathy prior to the meeting.
Save the date for the AMS Fall chorus concert on Monday, October 7th at 7:00 p.m. in the AMS gym.

Today is an At-Home Learning Day. Students will not report to school, but will complete work at home.

Softball September 19
Ashworth will present Dear Edwina, Jr. for their Winter Musical, January 17-19, 2025! Auditions will be October 2 -3. See Mrs. Latimer in the chorus room for more information.
Congratulations to our boys and girls golf team on a good outing at Calhoun Elks Club.
Ashworth Girls were led by Kalli Hicks to finish 2nd in a 5 Team match. Kalli shot a 43 with 2 birdies. Makayla Hallman carded a counting score of 61.
Ashworth Boys finished 3rd in the 5-team match. Gracin Thomas led the team with a 41.
Also scoring for the team was Brantley Baker scoring 46, Jase Koon shot a 47 with one birdie. Carter Goble rounded out the scoring with a 58.
Save the date for the AMS 6th Grade Band Concert: "A Day in the Life of a 6th Grade Band Student" will be October 3rd @ 7 p.m. in the AMS Gym.
