Gordon County middle schools will participate in spring assessments during the months of April and May. To ensure that iPads are available, updated to the latest iOS version, and charged for testing, all middle school students will turn in their iPads by Monday, March 28, 2022. Once returned, iPads will remain in classrooms for the duration of the school year, and students will continue to use their iPads while at school.



Free Sports Physicals for 6th and 7th graders on Friday, April 1st. Pick up a form from Coach Lawson or Ms. Stutts.

Ashworth Middle School is proud to announce that McKenna Massengale has been selected as our 2022-2023 Teacher of the Year. Congratulations!


It was a great day for Ashworth golf on Thursday! Ashworth represented well at Spring Lakes match vs. Dalton. Tripp Morgan was the low medalist of the match. Micah Wills and Carson Sage tied for the 2nd best score for the Team.

Girls Soccer Update: Saturday, March 5th the Lady Warriors participated in the Rome Jamboree. Ashworth Lady Warriors went undefeated. They shut down both opponents keeping them scoreless!

Despite the rain up to game time causing an hour delay of game, Ashworth was able to travel to Pepperell to compete. The Pepperell girls'team had some quick offensive players who were able to get around our defense. Their defense did a decent job of holding the Lady Warriors to a low score. AMS had many opportunities near the goal--but struggled to finish.

The AMS Boys Soccer Team was able to bounce back in the win column after defeating Pepperell 5-0! Boys are (5-1) on the season and (3-1) in region games. Final two region matches will be on 3/14 vs Coosa and 3/16 vs Armuchee.
