Belwood Elementary has had two students who were Caught Being Good recently. Third graders Hunter Smith and Bruce Gilbert both went out of their way to show kindness to another student at school, one during recess and the other during library time! Way to go guys! Your Random Acts of Kindness to not go unnoticed!

Georgia Pre-K Week was born out of the 2009-2010 recession, after the program was nearly eliminated by the Georgia Legislature due to funding constraints. Since then, Voices for Georgia’s Children, along with the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning, has hosted an annual week-long celebration of Georgia’s Pre-K Program.
The first week of October has been dedicated to raising awareness of the importance and benefits of a quality Pre-K across the state of Georgia by providing leaders the opportunity to engage with classrooms in their local communities.
A huge thank you to all who took time to help Belwood PreK students during our PreK Week celebration!

These two sweet girls in Ms. Bishop's second grade classroom were recently Caught Being Good because they picked up trash without being asked to do so!
