If you plan to enroll your child at Ashworth Middle, Belwood Elementary, Gordon Central High, Swain Elementary, or Tolbert Elementary, please visit the front office at Gordon Central High School to enroll (335 Warrior Path, Calhoun, GA 30701).
If you plan to enroll your child at Fairmount Elementary, Red Bud Elementary, Red Bud Middle, Sonoraville Elementary, or Sonoraville High, please visit the front office at Sonoraville High School to enroll (7340 Fairmount Hwy SE, Calhoun, GA 30701).
Office hours for enrollment are Monday through Thursday, Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Registration times are 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 30th through July 2nd. From Calhoun's GEM Theatre: FREE MOVIES
We’re excited to announce that our popular Summer Movie Series is returning this year, and we’d love to invite your students to join us for some fun, free movie screenings!
We will have a movie screening most Tuesdays at 10 AM and 1 PM during the months of June and July at The GEM Theatre, which is located in beautiful downtown Calhoun.
The movies are COMPLETELY FREE TO ATTEND, and concessions will be available for purchase. Donations are also welcome, though!
Here is a great opportunity for parents looking for something fun and entertaining to do this summer. Whether you’re looking for a cool place to hang out, or simply want to enjoy a great movie, our Summer Movie Series is sure to be a hit!

We also shared some Best Wishes to a few leaving us to start a new chapter next year.

Preschool Play and Learn (PALs) End of Year Program!








Belwood Elementary Pre-K Completion Ceremony was hosted yesterday, celebrating the accomplishments of its pre-kindergarten students.
Proud families, teachers, and staff came together to recognize the children's growth and readiness for kindergarten.
The ceremony included lively performances, smiles, and completion certificates for each student when they returned to their classrooms.
It was a heartwarming event that marked the end of a successful year and the beginning of an exciting new chapter in the students' educational journey.

Belwood Elementary School is proud to announce its annual Second Grade Awards Ceremony, recognizing the hard work and accomplishments of its second graders.
The ceremony was held on Wednesday, May 21st at Belwood.
The event featured a variety of awards, including Completion Awards, Young Georgia Author's Award, Star Student Awards, Principal's Awards, and Special Area Awards.
"We are proud of their achievements and look forward to seeing them continue to thrive in the upcoming years," said Principal Monica Holt.

🎉🎓 Our Kindergarten End of Year Awards Program was a sweet celebration of a year filled with growth, learning, and joy!🎉🎓
We are so proud of our little learners, who were recognized for their hard work and accomplishments.
A special highlight of the program was their adorable performance. They sang their hearts out and melted ours! 🎶❤️
Students were recognized with Certificates of Completion, Perfect Attendance, Star Student, Awards from Specials teachers, Exact Path highest score and highest growth in Reading and Math, and the esteemed Principal's Award!
Thank you to our amazing kindergarten teachers and families for making this a memorable day.

Look for Gordon County School buses or vans in your neighborhood (listen for the horns!), or come to Tolbert Elementary or Sonoraville High School to pick up meals.
We will serve breakfasts and lunches Monday through Thursday from 11am - 1pm.
Note: Meal service will be identical to last year, same meal service, same routes, same times!! We look forward to feeding our favorite customers!! 😊
