The first month of school is done, and it's time to celebrate someone who has gone above and beyond in the month of August!
Please take a few moments to CONGRATULATE Belwood staff member Ms. Heather Balliew, who deserves recognition for her dedication, service, teamwork, and impact on others.
Many of her coworkers nominated Ms. Balliew, whose efforts help make Belwood Elementary a great place for students and staff! Mr. Fox presented Ms. Balliew with several nice surprises for her recognition!

Belwood Elementary students are connecting history to the growth and development of the United States! Mrs. Smith’s 5th grade students explored the Chisholm Trail while discussing cattle drives and their importance during the years following the Civil War.

Core Essential Values is our Character Education Curriculum, provided by our local Calhoun Chick-fil-a , is based on a Monthly Value that teaches kids, families and staff how to Treat Others Right, Make Smart Decisions and Maximize Potential.
These values set the stage for a common language to be used across our entire county.
Each month, videos, activities and lessons all center around a value word and its accompanying definition or application.
