Congratulations to Mr. Avery Cole in Ms. Psaila and Ms. Zimerle's 4th grade class!
Gordon County Schools recognize Red Ribbon Week every October.
The mission of Red Ribbon Week is to present a unified and visible commitment toward the prevention of alcohol and drug abuse.
The annual Art Poster contest includes the winning art being on display at the Harris Art Center. The winning recipients and their families will be honored at an Art Reception held at the Harris Art Center on Monday, October 20 at 4:30 p.m.
The sponsors of this event are The Gordon County Chamber of Commerce and Mannington Mills.

Belwood Elementary 5th grade teacher Katherine Montelongo guided her students today in learning how to cite evidence in their writing. Students discussed supporting and defending claims with strong evidence, building important skills as thoughtful writers and critical thinkers. #ExtraordinaryGCS #ExtraordinaryBES
