Being a principal means making a difference every day.

This National Principals Month, we recognize the impact our principals have on students, staff, and community and we honor Mr. Matt Fox and Mrs. Meghan Vess for their leadership, vision, and commitment to our students' success.

Belwood Elementary 5th grade teacher Katherine Montelongo guided her students today in learning how to cite evidence in their writing. Students discussed supporting and defending claims with strong evidence, building important skills as thoughtful writers and critical thinkers. #ExtraordinaryGCS #ExtraordinaryBES

National School Lunch Week is October 13-17, and our theme is a great one:
Taste the World. 

The cafeterias will be decorated with international flags, landmarks, globes, etc., and the menus will feature a different world cuisine each day.

Yesterday Belwood's Pre-K students visited the Harris Arts Center to engage in a wonderful Disney Song Review!

A big THANK YOU to ENGINEERED FLOORS for sponsoring Pre-K POPS!

Preschool POPS is a program designed to introduce the arts to all preschool-age children in Gordon County.

POPS is often a child’s first exposure to puppeteers, singers, musicians, actors, and storytellers and is a series beloved and appreciated by its young audiences and their teachers.
