Belwood faculty and staff did not become extinct this summer. In fact, they are "ROARING" to go, according to the Back to School Bash held yesterday on campus. A special Thank you to Splash Gordon for bringing some delicious Sweet Treats last week to get us going and for the Sonoraville High School Majorettes for feeding this omnivorous group of dinosaurs, I mean teachers! Your generosity and thoughtfulness has blessed so many!
A BIG shout out to Mr. Chase Whitfield for being recognized at the Gordon County 4-H banquet last night. Chase participated in a few Livestock Showing events and we are very proud of him!

New teachers received a warm welcome at Belwood!
Monday, July 29th, Belwood gathered with a talented group of new and veteran teachers to return to learning, just like students will do on August 6th!
Welcoming new teachers to the community and culture of Belwood Elementary School is something we take seriously, said Mrs. Holt.
“We want to set up our new teachers for success!
To do so, we introduce them to our culture and to the ways that we support them in all areas throughout their tenure here, because doing so will directly improve and enhance the learning for all of our students.”
