Prior to the football game on Friday, November 4, 2022, Gordon Central would like to recognize seniors currently participating in the following fall programs:
Band
Cheerleading
Chorale
Cross Country
Football
One Act
Softball
Volleyball
Seniors should pick up a participation form and return it to Dr. Clance in the counseling office by Tuesday, October 18. Feel free to contact Dr. Clance at jclance@gcbe.org or 706-879-5181 with any questions.
Seniors who plan to attend college next year need to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Completion of the FAFSA is the first step students need to take in seeking financial aid for college. In order to complete the FAFSA, students and at least one of their parents/guardians must have an FSA ID (Federal Student Aid ID) to complete the FAFSA. FSA ID’s can be created on the Federal Student Aid website. A brief video outlining FAFSA completion, a link to the FAFSA on the Web Worksheet, a link to the FAFSAitself, and a FAFSA Checklist can be found here on the Counseling page of the Gordon Central website. FAFSA COMPLETION WEBINAR...
The Georgia Student Finance Commission (GSFC) will host a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) Webinar on Thursday October 13 at 6:00 pm. The webinar will provide information about completing the FAFSA. The FAFSA is used to evaluate students for federal as well as some state financial ad for postsecondary education.
