Parents and students of Gordon County Schools attended a Transition Fair hosted by GA CTI today at the Gordon County College and Career Academy. During the event, parents and students attended a variety of breakout sessions. Information was provided for GVRA Post Secondary Counseling, College Admissions, Trade Schools (GNTC), Warm Springs/Cave Spring Centers, Workplace Opportunities (Toyo Tires), and Extra Special People (ESP). Refreshments and breakfast were provided by GA CTI. A special thanks to student volunteers from both GCHS and SHS who supported students and parents in navigating to the breakout sessions, and to the collaborative efforts of Mrs. Jennifer White with GA CTI and Ms. Rena Roper with GVRA who provided this opportunity for Gordon County Schools students and families.
