We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who helped make this event possible. A huge thank you to Calhoun 1st Baptist, Sonoraville Baptist Church, the CLStrong Foundation, Blue Springs Water, Grace Building Solutions, Sonora Lodge, and Jeff Gresham for bringing Santa to life. CCRPI scores are calculated using multiple indicators that measure student achievement, progress, readiness, and closing gaps. A key component of the CCRPI is student performance and growth on state assessments, including the Georgia Milestones End-of-Grade (EOG) and End-of-Course (EOC) tests. Additional factors include graduation rates, progress of English Learners, and indicators of college and career readiness.
Closing Gaps: Measures how well a school is improving performance among all student groups, especially those that have historically underperformed. It emphasizes equity and ensures all students are making gains.
Content Mastery: Looks at how well students are performing on Georgia Milestones tests in core subject areas, representing their level of academic proficiency.
English Learner (ELL) Proficiency: Evaluates the progress of English learners in developing English language skills, using the ACCESS for ELLs assessment.
Progress – ELA: Tracks student growth over time on the Georgia Milestones in English Language Arts, regardless of their starting point. It shows how much academic progress students are making year to year.
Readiness: Assesses whether students are prepared for the next grade level, college, or careers. It includes factors like attendance, literacy readiness, and participation in advanced coursework or career pathways.

✅ Engaged with inspiring speakers and educators
✅ Participated in hands-on workshops and breakout sessions
✅ Explored future career and academic pathways
✅ Connected with peers from across the state
✅ Discovered all that KSU has to offer
We’re proud of our future leaders for taking this amazing opportunity to learn and grow! 🌟 #SHSLeads #AspiringLeaders #KSU #ExtraordinarySHS #ExtraordinaryGCS

Don't forget, EOC testing begins this week. Make sure to bring you iPad fully charged!
#ExtraordinarySHS #ExtraordinaryGCS

If your student begins a testing session and leaves campus before completing it (e.g., for an appointment, illness, etc.), they may not be allowed to return to that testing session. Please do not schedule appointments on test days. The office cannot interrupt a testing session, once started, to call students.
Students, please make sure you have iPads charged and ready for test days.
Remember, the EOC is 20% of your grade!

This won't last long!
