Congratulations to Sonoraville High School's FFA Program for being named Chapter of the Year at this year's Region Rally!

The Chapter of the YearAward is awarded to the chapter with the most participation, CDE & LDE wins, state contest participation, proficiency placings/wins, state degree recipients, agriscience fair participation/placings/wins, and much more. It is a way to recognize that chapter that has worked the hardest the past year to push students to live out the FFA Motto: Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve.

Students in Coach Worley’s class stepped into the shoes of 1300s Western Europeans through a hands-on board game simulating the devastating impact of the Black Plague. From calculating population loss to navigating post-plague challenges, they explored history in a powerful, interactive way. 🧩📉⚔️

JV Football kicks off today at 5:30🔥

The Sonoraville High Turf program had the amazing opportunity to visit East Lake Golf course during the PGA Tour Championship to have a behind the scenes experience of the preparation that goes into hosting the event. Students were able to rotate through industry stations : Machinery & Maintenance, Agronomy and Chemical Application, Industry Personnel, Mowers, and finished off the day by watching golf and enjoying a sponsored lunch on the 7th & 8th greens! Huge thank you to everyone involved in making this trip possible for our students!
