AMS Band Director, Mr. Will Johnson, has been selected to march in the 2023 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade® with The Band Directors Marching Band on November 23, 2023! Mr. Johnson will join a marching band of 400 band directors from across the country, including Gordon Central's Band Director, Mr. Neal Crawford, for this event. Congratulations to the AMS School-Level Spelling Bee winners: Champion, Raizel Solorio and Runner-up, Kalea Hunter! The spelling bee went thirteen rounds, and the championship word was "wisdom". Raizel will advance to the Gordon County Schools system-level spelling bee. (winners pictured with AMS Principal, Mr. Danny Lowrance)

The Georgia Parent Survey was developed to measure parent perceptions of school climate at your child’s school. Your opinion is very important to us. Your survey responses are confidential and will be combined with the survey responses of other parents at your child’s school to identify areas in need of improvement. It should only take ten or fifteen minutes to complete the survey. Thank you for your time and participation.
