Gordon Central’s 2022 STAR Student, Lindsey Lowrance, chose Ashworth’s
Coach Melanie Moore as her 2022 STAR Teacher!
STAR is an acronym for Student Teacher Achievement Recognition, and the STAR Student is the senior with the highest SAT score on a single test date who is in the top 10% of their class. This year’s STAR Student is Lindsey Lowrance. In addition to being recognized for their achievements, STAR Students are asked to select the teacher whom they feel made the most significant contribution to their scholastic development to be named their STAR Teacher, and Lindsey selected Ms. Melanie Moore of Ashworth Middle School. Congratulations to both Lindsey and Ms. Moore!
