Gordon County Schools District Family Engagement and Belwood Elementary Principal hosted The Family Dinner Project for Mrs. Chloe Bishop’s second grade class on Tuesday, November 19th.
The Family Dinner Project champions family dinner as an opportunity for family members to connect with each other through food, fun, and conversations that matter. Pictured are the winners of our family night game baskets. Dinner was provided by New Town Baptist Church.
Thank you to everyone who came out and participated, and we appreciate our partnership with New Town Baptist Church! We cannot have these great events without the support of our amazing community.

This AMAZING first grader showed everyone how to "Treat Others Right" this week at Belwood!
While at recess, Gabriel stopped swinging to help a classmate get onto the swing, and instead of going back to his swing, he stayed and proceeded to swing his friend.
Wow! Just Wow! Because if you know ANYTHING about playground 101, you know that getting a swing is like a Ninja skill. And once you get one, you don't usually get off until your teacher makes you.

There are a variety of areas students can compete in, including robotics, audio or video production, digital game design, and more!
