New Town Baptist continues to bless Belwood Elementary.
As a Community Outreach Partner, they have earned an A ++ every time they pray for our faculty and families, bring us book bags loaded with school supplies for our students, show up for Open House to meet and get to know our kids and even provide bottles water for any student who has a need during the dog days of August.
Every Time we ask, New Town Baptist is ready, willing and able to be the hands and feet we need.

The first two days at Belwood have been amazing! 🌟
Our students continue to shine, and we are so proud of the energy and excitement filling our halls.
Here are a few important updates for our Belwood families:
1️⃣ Morning Drop-Off:
Beginning tomorrow, all students will walk themselves to class. Our amazing staff will be stationed throughout the building to offer guidance if needed, and teachers will be ready to greet them at their doors.
2️⃣ Lunch Visitors:
We can’t wait to welcome families to join their child for lunch! To help us establish strong rituals and routines in the cafeteria, we kindly ask that lunch visits begin after Labor Day.
Mark your calendars for September 2 as the first day for lunch guests. Remember that all visitors must be listed on your child’s list of approved adults—these were listed on the white card at Open House.
3️⃣ Friday Ice Cream Sales 🍦
Everyone loves a sweet treat! Ice cream will be sold on Fridays for $1.00.
Sales begin August 22.
4️⃣ Picture Day is Coming! 📸

A big shoutout to all our families for your patience with buses and the car rider line. The first day always brings a few bumps, but we’re smoothing things out quickly—and your support helps more than you know!
A few reminders to keep dismissal running smoothly this week:
1. Car Rider Tags are a must!
All cars must have the official Belwood car rider tag clearly displayed in the window the entire time you’re in line.
If you need a car rider tag, stop by the office tomorrow, and our amazing front office team will help you out!
2. Transportation changes—We must have a written note.
We can’t accept Class DOJO messages or emails.
If your child will go home a different way than they did Friday, please send in a note on Monday.
3. Paperwork from Open House:
Please complete and return those beginning-of-year forms as soon as possible.
We hope you enjoyed a weekend full of rest and fun—we are ready to Build Exceptional Students this year!
