Fairmount Elementary 4th grade math teacher Tanner Dunkin and co-teacher Sara Broom worked with students to review strategies for quickly identifying the larger fraction. Students discussed simplifying fractions and comparing the numerator to the denominator as they talked through problems with their table partners.

The collaborative conversations helped reinforce fraction concepts and strengthen student understanding.
