FES Families,
In honor of Grandparents Day on September, 10, and due to early release days next week, our Grandparents lunches will be the week of September 18-21.
Your Child should bring home the attached form today. We are excited to invite our FES grandparents to come and eat lunch with us. Please send in the bottom portion of the form along with $4 for each grandparent who will be joining your student on their assigned day for lunch. We look forward to having your grandparents as our special guest!

Maggie, the milk cow, will visit FES tomorrow. Maggie and the mobile dairy classroom will be doing demonstrations for our students in the morning. Make sure to be on time so you can enjoy meeting Maggie!
We are so proud of our Students of the Month! Some were chosen because they think about things differently and some were chosen for their artistic skills. Each is a great example of CREATIVITY.

Fall picture day is tomorrow!
Gordon County Schools will operate on a two hour delay today, Tuesday, August 29th due to flooding and road conditions. This is for staff and students. Teachers…be ready to receive students in your classrooms at 9:00am. We will unload buses and unload cars beginning at 9:00am.
Parents…if your student rides a bus, please be at the bus stop two hours later than your normal time. Please be patient with our bus drivers. As always, the safety of our students may alter arrival times. If your student arrives to school as a car rider, we will begin unloading students at 9:00am. The official start time for school today will be 9:35am.
