Remember Spring Picture day is tomorrow!

Our celebrity servers were a big hit at FES during National Breakfast Week.

Kona Ice gave our school a gift for "Read Across America Week". It is an honor to work side by side with them to encourage our students to develop a love for reading.

Our Bulldog Boogie is on March 27. Be on the lookout for a flyer coming home soon!

Kona Ice will be at FES tomorrow for a fundraiser. Please see the pic below for prices. If your student has a refillable cup, they’re welcome to bring those washed and ready. If your student will be making a purchase from the Kona Ice truck, please have their money in an envelope or ziploc bag with their name, teacher’s name, and the amount of money clearly labeled. Please do not drop money off at the front office. We cannot guarantee that it will make it to your student before he or she visits the truck.
Thank you all so much,
Mrs. Champion

FES #3 will be delayed leaving school today. The transportation Dept is having to bring a different bus. I will let you know when they pull out. If you decide to come to the school to check your student out, please come to the main office.

Fairmount Families! This weekend ONLY, students can earn a BONUS PRIZE by getting donations on MYBOOSTER.COM. Thank you for supporting our school this year and have a GREAT weekend!

Our kindergartners here at FES were really busy with "Read Across America" week.

Given the latest timing of the impending storms and its impact on today’s dismissal, Gordon County Schools will be dismissing elementary schools today at 12:30 p.m. and middle and high schools at 1:30 p.m. Aftercare will operate as normal. Schools will communicate individually about the status of any other after-school activities that are scheduled for this afternoon and evening.

Gordon County Schools, in collaboration with local safety officials, is closely monitoring weather conditions expected for this afternoon. We stand ready to alter today’s dismissal in the interest of student and staff safety.
Should an official change of schedule (delay, early dismissal, etc.) be warranted, we will notify staff and families via our website, all social media handles, mass notification system, and share information with local media outlets.

Mrs. Cantrell’s kindergarten class read Dr. Seuss’ Green Eggs and Ham and enjoyed trying some in class.
20 out of 22 liked the eggs!
