Gordon County Schools will operate on a two hour delay today, Tuesday, August 29th due to flooding and road conditions. This is for staff and students. Teachers…be ready to receive students in your classrooms at 9:00am. We will unload buses and unload cars beginning at 9:00am.
Parents…if your student rides a bus, please be at the bus stop two hours later than your normal time. Please be patient with our bus drivers. As always, the safety of our students may alter arrival times. If your student arrives to school as a car rider, we will begin unloading students at 9:00am. The official start time for school today will be 9:35am.

We are excited to share this new opportunity! You can leave your mark at Fairmount Elementary. We will be installing a new walkway to connect two sidewalks in the front of the school. We would love for everyone to purchase a brick to help with this endeavor. Below is a link to purchase your brick online or you may print the order form mail the form and check to the school. Cost per brick will be $50.
