It’s National School Principals’ Day, and Sonoraville High School would like to honor our very own, Mrs. Amy Stewart.❤️
Mrs. Stewart is a true servant leader. She does so much for Sonoraville High School that no one sees because she loves our school and community. This is shown through her dedication to academics, athletics, and the arts. Her desire is for SHS to succeed, not for herself, but for our students and community. We’re grateful to have a leader like Mrs. Stewart!

After a process of interviews, a test, and speeches, Makena Blalock achieved her goal of becoming the 2024-2025 Georgia FFA State Secretary at the 96th Georgia FFA Convention!🎉
State Officers are elected at the State FFA Convention to serve the 80,000+ FFA members across the state of Georgia. The team is tasked with planning events, leading workshops, speaking with state and industry leaders, etc. They are seen at conferences, conventions, and various events throughout the year.
Makena says, "I am beyond excited to serve some of the best kids in the state of Georgia! I will embrace every single moment as an FFA State Officer. I hope to leave a legacy of love, joy, and laughter for Georgia FFA members."
Sonoraville High School is SO PROUD of you, Makena! Congratulations!

CONGRATULATIONS to senior, Brynley Walraven, for signing with Young Harris College to join their track team. YHC is lucky to have you!💜

Mrs. Roberson, Mrs. Gordon, and Mrs. Henley 's environmental science classes visited Zoo Atlanta yesterday! It was a great opportunity to observe so many of the animals they have discussed this semester in their "natural-ish" habitat!

Check out our May menus! ☀️
