This is a special group - did everything asked of them - wrestled their butts off on Thursday and put us in position to make a run. People outside of wrestling have no idea how family oriented this sport really is. It was incredible to look up in the stands all weekend and see a sea of RED - the roars that erupted after kids would win a match just can't be described unless you were there.
THANKS to all who supported the kids efforts. The saying is it takes a village to raise kids - my saying has been it takes a village to win and compete for championships - OUR village @ Sonoraville is the BEST in Georgia and second to none

Abigail King and Luke White are Sonoraville High School's 2022 STAR Students! For the first time in school history, SHS had students tie for the honor of STAR student. STAR is an acronym for Student Teacher Achievement Recognition, and the STAR Student is awarded to the senior (or seniors) with the highest SAT Score on a single test date who is in the top 10% of their class. In addition to being recognized for their achievements, STAR Students are asked to select the teacher who they feel made the most significant contribution to their scholastic development to be named their STAR Teacher. Abigail selected Mrs. Hannah Nelson and Luke selected Mr. Nathan Schuster. Congratulations to Abigail, Luke, Mrs. Nelson, and Mr. Schuster!
