Thank you, Dr. Stowers!

In celebration of Veterans Day, the Sonoraville Singers, a choral ensemble from Sonoraville High School, performed at Belwood Elementary School as part of their annual ceremony. Sonoraville Singers performed the Star-Spangled Banner and "My America," a dedication piece for the ceremony. The Belwood Singers closed the ceremony with two patriotic pieces, including one featuring all the songs of the Armed Forces. It was fun to sing together!  #TogetherSHS #TogetherBES #TogetherGCS

Students in Physics class had an “eggciting” time creating a structure that would prevent a raw egg from breaking when dropped from a high distance. Using information that the students learned in Physics class, they worked together to create a design that would reduce the amount of energy transferred from potential to kinetic energy on the eggshell to keep the egg from cracking. Some groups were successful, while a few were not, but all had a fun, educational experience.   #TogetherSHS
