At our October LSGT meeting we discussed a survey that 3rd-5th grade students participated in. The survey showed 97% of these students like school, feel safe, and feel encouraged at school to do well. 98% of students feel as if they are recognized for their good behavior, feel respected by teachers, and know there’s always an adult to help if needed. Lastly, 90% of students seldom-never feel threatened or bullied by others. There is always room for improvement and suggestions, this is where LSGT comes in…suggestions! We also discussed our upcoming fundraisers and recognized how wonderful our PTO is coming together and creating new and fun things for our school.
Please join us at our next LSGT meeting on November 6th at 6:45am. We will have a guest speaker, Brian Hall, Strategic Initiatives & Communications Director.
