Fairmount Elementary music teacher Jayme Crowley had her students rocking and rolling with rhythm testing! Students had choice in which musical instruments to use, and they were really getting into it. Go Bulldogs! #TogetherGCS #GordonCountySchools #TogetherFES

Congratulations to our FES Cafeteria/Nutrition team for scoring a 100 on their health inspection. As always, they are awesome!

I just received a call from the fundraiser company. The truck delivering our items will be delayed getting to FES. We will plan to begin distribution of items around 4:30pm and will extend our time to 7:30pm. I ask for your patience with this change. We will do the best we can to work quickly once the items get to us.
Thank you, Mrs. Champion

We know this year will be no different. We can't wait to see all of the donations to come on November 4-8, 2024. Let's Go Bulldogs!!

Kona Ice will be at FES on Friday, November 15. Please send correct change in an envelope or baggie with our student. Please try to send it with your student to limit visitors to the front office. Thank you.

Don't forget time change this weekend!

Congratulations to our FES teacher Dana Ryal for winning our October attendance gift card! Every month we have a drawing for a gift card for faculty and staff that have not missed a day for that month. Also, we would like to thank the Horace Mann Agency for continuing to support FES by donating the gift cards for our staff.

Tomorrow, November 1, is an At Home Learning Day for students!

Fairmount Elementary 4th grade science and social studies teacher Dana Ryal was reviewing with her students about space and using context clues. Her class is out of this world! #TogetherGCS #GordonCountySchools

Strategic Planning Survey Link: https://forms.office.com/r/MpdZUzans2
Gordon County Schools invites you to participate in our school district Strategic Planning Survey, and we greatly appreciate your feedback as we work to shape the future of our schools. Your input plays a crucial role in helping us create positive outcomes for our students and community.
The Strategic Planning Survey is a key part of our process to develop a comprehensive roadmap for guiding Gordon County Schools from 2026 to 2030. This survey allows us to hear directly from community members, parents, staff, and students about their perspectives, priorities, and hopes for our school system. By gathering this feedback, we aim to understand the community’s vision for our schools and identify areas for growth and improvement.
The insights from the survey will directly influence the new strategic plan, which will set goals and outline initiatives that promote academic excellence, enhance student well-being, support staff development, and strengthen community partnerships. Ultimately, this survey empowers the community to play an active role in shaping the future of Gordon County Schools, ensuring that we continue providing the best possible educational experiences for all our students.
You can complete the survey by visiting this link: https://forms.office.com/r/MpdZUzans2

Fairmount Parents,
Students will be allowed to wear their costumes to school on Thursday, October 31st. Your child’s safety is always our first concern here at Fairmount. We ask that you guide their selection of costumes to allow them to comfortably work and learn throughout the day, as well as be able to independently use the restroom. Any items that encourage violence or could be scary to other children are inappropriate for children at school. All accessories to costumes should be left at home. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items. Students are not allowed to wear full-faced masks. Classes will enjoy a snack and craft during the school day. This is for the student only. Thank you for your cooperation in making this a fun and safe day at school. We are looking forward to an enjoyable day!
