The College Board has recently honored six exceptional students from Sonoraville High School for their outstanding achievements as Advanced Placement (AP) Scholars during the 2023-24 school year. This outstanding accomplishment is a testament to the dedication and academic excellence of these students and their schools. These Phoenix students earned the distinction of AP Scholar, meaning they received scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams.: McKenna Boswell Morgan Guyton Tracy Par Rushi Patel Isabella Segursky Cooper Watson These exemplary students have not only demonstrated academic prowess but have also exemplified the values of hard work and dedication, which will undoubtedly serve them well in their future endeavors. Gordon County Schools is introducing My Ride K-12, a parent communication app, to its transportation operations. My Ride K-12 will be integrated with our transportation software for families to access estimated times of arrival or departure for buses. My Ride K-12 is designed so you can access your student’s bus schedules efficiently. GPS technology on the bus works with the district’s software to automatically calculate the timing of a bus route to give you the most accurate ETAs with real-time updates and route changes. My Ride K-12 is now available for you to download on your Apple or Android mobile device. Our flyer provides step-by-step registration instructions, and you can access the app to download in a variety of ways. Gordon County Schools Summer Enrollment Information: Please review the flyer to know where to go for summer enrollment at Gordon County Schools. Enrollment opens June 18th and ends July 11th. Visit the feeder school's registration location Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Summer Enrollment Information!

Summer school registration is now open for Gordon County Schools high school students in need of credit recovery. Summer school dates are June 10-13, June 17-20, and June 24-27. There is no fee associated with summer school; breakfast and lunch are provided. Students must attend each day and can earn ONE recovery credit from these offered courses: 9th Grade Literature, 10th Grade Literature, World History, Geometry, Advanced Algebra, Physics, and Environmental Science.
