At last night’s Board of Education meeting, Gordon County Schools recognized Sonoraville High School track star Jazmine Hunter for her outstanding achievement in May. A multi-sport athlete and honors student, Jazmine capped off her school year by winning the Class 2A state championship in the Triple Jump. When asked if she felt pressure to win a state championship again, Jazmine replied, “Pressure is a privilege.” Her dedication, talent, and hard work have made her a true standout, and we are proud to celebrate her extraordinary success as a Lady Phoenix.
